Our pillows are locally made from high-density foam for added support. They are firm with slight recoil. There is no contouring, and it prevents the head from collapsing or sinking into the pillow, which could change the angle of your neck while sleeping.
These unique and locally made pillows have the following properties:
- Designed for side sleepers: Specific angles allow the shoulder to remain relaxed and not shrugged, while
keeping the neck parallel with the spine. The pillow fits snuggly into the crook of your neck, avoiding the
need to bunch the material up to maintain the required support. - Designed for back sleepers: The pillow fits comfortably under the top of the shoulders, neck, and head, and the angles provide sufficient support, preventing the neck from being forced into a strained position whilst maintaining an open airway. The angles used have been based on the angles required for apnoea sleepers. In that way, this pillow assists people to sleep more comfortably and breathe better during the night, thus ensuring more restful sleep
A pillow is not just something you sleep on; it is a sleep enhancer. Therefore, we have strived to improve this enhancement as much as possible. This is why the following features are available:
- Height adjustable: To accommodate various body types, mattress types, and comfort levels, the pillows include two removable inserts that adjust the height by 2cm each, offering heights of 120mm, 100mm, and 80mm. Our recommendation is to use the 100mm height for the average person, 120mm for very broad shoulders, and 80mm for very narrow shoulders or for children. This also removes the need for sleeping with more than one pillow.
- Firmness adjustable: To accommodate various body types, mattress types, and comfort levels, the pillows include two additional optional memory foam inserts that adjust the firmness for a softer comfort. This is mainly for the feel against the ear and side of the face, and doesn’t compromise the integrity of the support received through the rest of the pillow.
The locally made foam allows for heat regulation, odour and moisture control, and breathability. It is allergy and dust mite-resistant to help promote deep sleep.
However, the amazing thing about these pillows is that anyone can use them. You don’t have to have a neck issue! They are that comfortable and supportive.
